Tiegel

SmartDry

SmartDry

The new Tiegel SmartDry utilizes a revolutionary technology to increase productivity while dramatically reducing the energy required to dry plates. In field tests, we have established the following: Reduced drying time for up to 1/4" thick plates from three hours to under one hour. Reduced electrical consumption by 80%, down to 3HP, for significant savings. Reduced gas consumption and more efficient use of cooling water through proportional control. Reduced moisture level to below .2 of 1%.

washmax

washmax

Close the plate-washing loop in the dry charge operation by installing Tiegel's Wash Maximizer I. This will reduce waste water to 40 gallons per three shifts.

Wash Maxi II

Wash Maxi II

The Tiegel Wash Maxi II Model 94 Washer-Dryer will rinse, wash and dry 4,000-5,000 batteries per eight hours using just 20-50 gallons (190 liters) of water. This is being filtered through a 2 micron filter and can be utilized for acid cutting. In addition, substantial amounts of soap are saved since soap is not required to neutralize the acid. This machine is divided into three sections: the pre-wash rinse section, the main wash section and the drying section. Each of these is a fully automatic.

Group Burning

Group Burning

The Tiegel Group Burning Machine has been a proven money-maker over the years due to its flexibility and efficiency. It is capable of burning all SLI automotive, as well as truck and bus batteries. With change-over time well under 15 minutes, short runs are economical on this machine.
